Iran-linked group hacked Kash's personal email

On their website, the hacker ​group Handala Hack Team said Patel “will now find ​his name among the list of successfully hacked ⁠victims.” A Justice Department official confirmed that Patel’s email had ​been breached and said the material published online appeared authentic.

For some purposes concerning the topic “embarassing top leaders of the United States executive”, it’s conceivable that emailing Handela hackers could get you more information than a FOIA request could… with how long they take to process a FOIA request and how much they redact, ha!
