First, the launch of IFIN has been a long time coming. I’m really excited by this project, and I think it meshes well with TTI. While TTI is, in my view, for growth and learning, IFIN is focused specifically on mutual aid and protection. Train here, defend there. Or something like that.
And then, like an idiot, I decided I also wanted to push long-awaited changes to Ringspace this week. It felt good to get back to real coding, but wow what a time sink.
I’m fairly overflowing with gratitude to all the folks who have supported these projects. IFIN in particular has been a massive group effort, and we’re just getting started.
I’m Grateful that NASA pulled off a pretty good Win with their Artemis 2 mission going nearly perfectly as best I can tell; … until they splashed down anyway; after that, the apparent ineffectiveness of the sea operation may have belonged to another authority. Personally, I’d rather be floated the 3000 meters to the big vessel than flown dangling from a noisy windy chopper.
G for lockpicking. time and time again it proves to be the most useful skill for me in dealing with problems at the arcade. also g for being able to help with the ifin launch, and that it’s successful so far. looking forward to the future
