Wins and Gratitudes: 2026-04-24

Aight let’s do this.

Big week over here. Two live sessions and serious growth over at IFIN. I’m also still plugging away at the next TTI course!

My daughter turns three this week, and she is the biggest G imaginable. Going from the NICU to this funny little person has been the most incredible experience of my life.

Your turn!

I’ll share my “first child” experience with you … I had a company with a couple dozen enduring capable employees whom I could trust while taking time off for the baby. I told them it’d be two weeks; they could call as needed of course; then I’d return to look things over and check in.

I fondly recall the check-in; every thing and every body was fine; as I stood by my desk (we all had large drafting tables) and gazed about the large common room, gazed “at my empire”, I was overwhelmed with the feeling of how inconsequential and relatively meaningless it all appeared in contrast to the new birth. It honestly took me two months to get back up to performance gear there.

I’m still grateful today for all of that; and thankful that it all evolved well in future years.

There’s still nothing more meaningful after 30+ years.

We can still sing and shower at the same time, right? ;-}

I’m late again, but that leads into my W and G combined.

I got to hang out with my family and son (who turned 6 this week) at the lake while camping out and celebrating his birthday. Very little internet except for streaming music to the speaker.
